Cookie Policy
1. In one paragraph
Lunolyte stores as little on your device as it can. Our website stores nothing. The portal and private status pages set one cookie each, only after you sign in, to keep you signed in. A status page remembers two display preferences in your browser. Nothing we store is used for analytics, tracking or advertising.
2. This website
lunolyte.com sets no cookies and uses no local storage. It loads no scripts, fonts or images from other parties, so no one else can set cookies through it either.
3. The Lunolyte portal
The portal at portal.lunolyte.com sets one cookie, after you have signed in:
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
lunolyte_customer_session | Keeps you signed in. It holds a random key and nothing about you. Without it you would have to sign in again on every page. | At most 12 hours |
The cookie can only be read by the portal itself, is sent only over an encrypted connection, and is not accessible to scripts.
4. Status pages
A public status page sets no cookies.
A private status page sets one cookie after you sign in:
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
lunolyte_status_session | Keeps you signed in to the private status page you were invited to. | At most 8 hours |
Every status page can remember two choices in your browser's local storage: whether you prefer the light or the dark theme, and whether you expanded the incident history. These stay on your device and are never sent to us.
5. The payment page
When you pay, you leave our site for a payment page run by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies there, among other things to prevent fraud. Those are Stripe's, not ours, and Stripe's cookie policy applies to them.
6. Why there is no cookie banner
The law requires consent for cookies and similar techniques, except for those that are strictly necessary for a service you asked for. A sign-in cookie, and a preference you set yourself, fall under that exception. Because we use nothing else, there is nothing to ask your consent for, and no banner.
If we ever want to use anything beyond that, we will ask first, and this page will say so before it happens.
7. Removing what is stored
You can delete cookies and local storage at any time through your browser's settings. If you delete the sign-in cookie you are signed out. If you block it, you cannot sign in.
8. Changes and contact
We update this page whenever what we store changes. The date at the top shows when this version took effect. Questions can be sent to [email protected]. How we handle personal data in general is described in our Privacy Policy.
