Lunolyte

About Lunolyte

Lunolyte exists for one reason: the first person to know your site is down should never be a customer.

Where it comes from

It started with exactly that problem: a website that went offline again and again, without anyone knowing in time. Lunolyte was built so that somebody always knows.

We built it to be the monitoring setup we would want to run ourselves. Real checks instead of a bare ping, an incident workflow that reflects what is actually happening instead of a single red dot, and a status page that is honest with visitors instead of quietly hiding problems.

What we believe

Monitoring tools tend to drift into one of two failure modes. Either too basic to catch real problems, like a server that responds but serves errors, or a certificate about to lapse. Or too complex for anyone on a small team to actually look at. We are building toward the middle: enough depth to catch what matters, enough simplicity that you will actually use it.

Who it is for

Small businesses watching their own site, growing teams that cannot afford surprise downtime, and agencies monitoring sites on behalf of clients who need a status page carrying their client's name, not ours.

Where we are now

Lunolyte is in private preview and sign-ups are not open yet. So there are no customer logos or review scores on this site, and we are not going to invent any.

What you can check for yourself today: our own status page, which is public on the bad days too; how a check works, including what it cannot tell you; and where your data is kept and who else is involved.
